    2. I have cloudy pool water, how do I fix it?
      • Do a complete water chemistry analysis with a Commercial Swimming Pool Test Kit.

    3. What does ORP mean?
      Oxidation Reduction Potential.
      Higher ORP's are better, it means that your sanitizer is working to it's maximum potential and the rest of your swimming Pool Chemicals will help maintain clear, clean water.

    4. How do I paint my pool?
      • We need your existing paint type
      • Indoor / Outdoor facility
      • DOH color approval
      • 6-step process recommended by OP Aquatics:
        1. Scrub empty pool with TSP. Rinse thoroughly.
        2. Acid etch pool. Rinse Thoroughly.
        3. Neutralize with TSP. Rinse thoroughly.
        4. Dry Pool COMPLETELY. Be sure that it is 100% moisture-free, if possible.
        5. Paint pool with recommended type of paint.
        6. Cure paint according to manufacturer's recommendations.
        7. Commercial Epoxy Pool Paint and Commercial Rubber Pool Paint are the two main types of Pool Paint offered by Olympic Pool Paints & Ramuc Pool Paints.

    5. What causes my paint to chip?
      • Moisture
      • Incompatible paint types
      • Incorrect prep-work before painting
      • Filled pool too soon after painting
      • Only Swimming Pool Paints should be used.

    6. What is Cyanuric Acid?
      Designed for outdoor use only. Used to block out UV rays.
      It stabilizes the effectiveness of chlorine products.

    8. Why is my chemical pump pumping but the level isn't changing?
      • Plugged up injector
      • Pump must be re-built
      • Undersized pump
      • Run time of pump
      • Foot valve is out of the liquid - lower it down into the tank.

    9. I don't know what kind of Swimming Pool Paint I have on my pool, what can I use?

    10. My sample says I don't have Liquid Commercial Pool Chlorine in the pool but the level is going down in the tank.
      • Sample is bleaching out - overshooting of the sodium hypochlorite
      • Swimming Pool Test Kit Reagent has gone bad.
      • High organic load - poor water quality
      • Commercial Pool Equipment needs to be analyzed.

    11. Why is my Liquid Commercial Pool Chlorine black/ purple?
      Contaminated sodiumhypochlorite liquid bleach due to metals in the tank (ex. Metal washer / screw, paper clip, penny). Bleach loses strength quickly, call OP Aquatics to replenish tanks.
